The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ashley shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Ashley showed some decent athleticism there.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Riccuito kicks Ashley off and gets back to his feet.
Good work by Ashley as he checks the leg kick.
Ashley looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Ashley closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

It looks like Jerwayne Ashley has been cut.
A solid body kick from Riccuito.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A punch lands to the side of Ashley 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Riccuito cracks Ashley with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Riccuito has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Ashley to stand back up!

Ashley is rocked!
Ashley bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Riccuito comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Ashley falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Ashley was out before he hit the floor!
