The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Lil I checks a leg kick.
Specialist tries to clinch but Lil I moves out of range.
Specialist misses with the combination.
Specialist throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Specialist throws a head kick that misses.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Lil I.
Lil I has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Specialist is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Lil I yanks on the arm and Specialist is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Lil I.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Ba Lil I!
After the fight, Ba Lil I was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
