Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johan Machado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sven Svensen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Machado might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Enter Sandman. Sven Svensen has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Machado drops Svensen with a left right combo! Machado follows him down to the ground into side control.

It looks like Sven Svensen has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Machado tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Machado has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Svensen tries to improve position but can't.

Machado thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Svensen sneaks back into half guard.
The fighters are battling for position here. Svensen manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Machado swings around for an armbar but Svensen sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Machado's guard.
Svensen postures up and lands a big shot to Machado's brow.
Machado seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
Machado wants to sweep but no luck.

Svensen has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Machado to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Svensen is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Machado pulls down on the head and he's put Svensen to sleep! This one is all over!
