Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Domenic Cole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kasey Puaoi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Puaoi closes the distance and clinches.

Puaoi escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Cole throws a right and a left that Puaoi avoids nicely.
Puaoi scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Cole fails with a takedown attempt.
Cole takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Cole really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Puaoi throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Cole's waist but Cole gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Puaoi off to one side.
Puaoi clobbers Cole with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

It looks like Domenic Cole has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Puaoi is defended easily by Cole.

Cole jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Puaoi walks away with a smile on his face. Cole gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Puaoi shoots in and drives through. Cole sprawls well.
Puaoi shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Cole pinned against the cage. Cole gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Domenic Cole is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Puaoi tries to clinch but Cole is having none of it.

and Cole counters with a one-two to the body.

Cole tries to break free but Puaoi pushes him back against the cage.

Puaoi tries to close the distance and clinch but Cole swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Puaoi tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Cole defends well and Puaoi ends up having to push Cole into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Cole throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Puaoi.
Puaoi defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Cole.
Puaoi looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Cole is fending him off so far but Puaoi persists. Nope, Cole circles away and we're back to standing.
Puaoi takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Cole fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Puaoi pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Puaoi rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Cole moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Puaoi stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Puaoi wants it to stay on the feet.
A head kick from Puaoi lands but Cole takes it in his stride.
Cole will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Puaoi punishes Cole's body with a nice straight punch.

Cole shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Puaoi sprawls well. Puaoi wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Cole gets slowly back to his feet.

Puaoi digs a right hand underneath Cole's ribcage. Cole let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Kasey Puaoi is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Well Puaoi has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
