The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barrionuevo tries to score a power double leg takedown but Nakamura sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Barrionuevo somewhat.
Barrionuevo misses with a hook. Nakamura ducked under it nicely.

Nakamura moves into the clinch.
Barrionuevo goes for a takedown attempt but Nakamura pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

We've been hearing reports that Barrionuevo has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Barrionuevo has hold of Nakamura's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Nakamura tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Barrionuevo cranks the arm and Nakamura screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Nakamura, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
