Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Simon Bush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gary Glitter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Simon Bush!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Gary Glitter!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shirou Masuda and Hirohito Nitta.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Glitter fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Bush throws a lazy head kick
and Glitter counters with a nice kick to the body.
Glitter shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bush but Bush pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Gary Glitter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Glitter gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Bush wanted to stand there but Glitter had control of the position.
Bush might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Glitter looking for a sweep. Not yet Glitter, not yet.
Bush is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Glitter wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Bush is now in half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Bush tries to stand and escape but Glitter is controlling the position.
Glitter is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Bush with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Bush wants to stand but Glitter has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Glitter wants to get back to full guard but Bush has passed into side control.
Bush landing a few strikes.
Bush just content to control the position.
Bush trying to control the action but Glitter is working from the bottom.
Glitter is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Bush is controlling him well.

Bush stands up and beckons Glitter to his feet.
Glitter doesn't manage to clinch there - Bush circles away.
Glitter fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Simon Bush has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gary Glitter.
Glitter connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Bush momentarily.

Glitter fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bush, pushing him back against the cage.
Glitter changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Bush fights it off and pushes away nicely.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Glitter throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bush's waist but Bush gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Glitter off to one side.
Bush tries for a takedown but Glitter sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Bush tries to close the distance and clinch but Glitter swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Glitter shoots for a takedown but Bush saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Bush.
Glitter looks winded!
Glitter takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Bush happy to just control the position for now.
Bush tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.

Glitter looking for a sweep but Bush has passed into full mount! Oh no!
Bush content just to control the position here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bush can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Glitter is looking to escape.
Glitter tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bush controlling his opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Bush's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Glitter is looking to clinch.
Bush on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Glitter shoots in and drives through. Bush sprawls well.
Bush closes this distance looking for a takedown but Glitter circles away.
Glitter shoots in looking for a takedown but Bush manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Glitter's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Bush could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Glitter fails in his attempt to clinch.
Glitter tries to clinch but Bush moves out of range.
Bush darts in looking for a takedown but Glitter gets double underhooks and turns Bush into the cage.

Bush pulls guard effortlessly.
Glitter wants to control from the top but Bush keeps moving.

Bush can't keep his opponent in guard - Glitter advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Glitter in particular looking to stall.
Bush tries to kick Glitter off in order to stand up. Glitter Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Glitter controls the position.
Glitter looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Bush is avoiding damage well.

Glitter wants to control but Bush is keeping him busy.

Glitter is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Bush knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Bush is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Simon Bush overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Bush avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Glitter.
Bush wants to get back to his feet but Glitter drags him back down.
Glitter is looking to take a break and control but Bush is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Glitter is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Bush knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Glitter throws an elbow but Bush slips to the side and avoids it well.

Glitter swings around for an armbar but Bush sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Glitter's guard.
Glitter is trying to keep Bush in close.
Bush is looking to stand up but Glitter won't let him.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Gary Glitter showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


Glitter looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Bush changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Glitter tries to avoid it but Bush manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Glitter to the ground. Glitter escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Glitter closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bush circles away.
A low kick from Bush is predictable there

and Glitter holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Glitter successfully pulls guard.
Bush slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Bush preventing the sweep.
Bush working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Glitter's head.
Bush throws a big elbow that misses.

Bush decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Glitter, up you get!

Glitter throws a head kick but Bush moves out of range.
Glitter takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Glitter throws a low kick, looking for Bush's leg but Bush calmly moves out of range.

Bush shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Bush showed some decent athleticism there.
Glitter is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Bush wants to get back to his feet.
Bush thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Glitter's head.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Glitter is looking to escape.
Bush wants to stand up but Glitter has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Glitter wants to improve his position but Bush is controlling well.
It looks like Bush is going to stand back up.

Glitter pushes Bush off and gets back to his feet.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Glitter.
Simon Bush has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gary Glitter.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bush decides to stand back up.

Bush closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Glitter quickly recovers to half guard.
Bush prevents Glitter from standing back up.
Glitter is looking to improve his position.

Bush decides to return to a standing position.
Bush throws a solid leg kick but Glitter takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Bush.
Glitter tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Bush manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Bush shoots in for a takedown but Glitter shows good takedown defense.

Glitter clinches with his opponent.

Glitter manages to break the clinch.
A head kick from Glitter lands but Bush takes it in his stride.
Gary Glitter is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Glitter misses with a head kick.
Gary Glitter seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Bush shoots in for a takedown but Glitter shows good takedown defense.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bush gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Glitter.

Bush decides to pull guard.
