Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Marvin Mendoza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Smee Again (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marvin Mendoza is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Marvin Mendoza!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Smee Again!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Anni Minnemäki and Marco Blurström.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Danga de danga de dang - Again scores with a four punch combination!

Again closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Again lands in his opponent's guard.

Mendoza is rocked!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Mendoza can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Again controls the pace.
Again passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Again is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Mendoza will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Mendoza tries to improve position but can't.
Again is staying tight to Mendoza's torso, preventing him from escaping.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Smee Again wasn't active enough on the ground.
Mendoza misses with a jab, cross combination.

Again shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Mendoza is trying to defend but Again finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Again performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Let's hope that Again has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Smee Again wasn't active enough on the ground.
Mendoza tries to clinch but Again is having none of it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Again shoots in and bounces Mendoza off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Mendoza controls Again momentarily but Again frees himself.
Again content to stall in guard here.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Again stands and steps away. Mendoza gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Good standup being displayed there by Again as he connects with a hook.

Mendoza tries to keep at a distance but Again has taken the fight into the clinch.

Again has hold of one of Mendoza's legs. Mendoza is fighting the takedown attempt but Again gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Again slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Mendoza wants to sweep here but Again controlling him for the moment.

Again gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Mendoza tries to clinch but Again moves away
and Again counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Again closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Mendoza's guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Again is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Again passes easily into side control. Nice work.
A lull in the action here.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Smee Again dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Again decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Again sitting and controlling from the half guard.
Again's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Again is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Mendoza defends it well.

Again gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Marvin Mendoza seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Again throws a series of strikes that have Mendoza backpedaling.
Again scores with a jab. Mendoza acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Oh Mendoza is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Again shoots in for a takedown. He's got it... He's hoisted his opponent over his head and is carrying him over to the other end of the mat. The crowd roars in approval and Again slams his opponent to the mat. OH, that is naaaaaasty! He's out! Again lands a punch to his unconscious victim for good measure before the ref has time to call the fight.
