Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Oliver Rubber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Finch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rubber looks for a takedown but Finch sprawls well.
Finch jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Rubber has a takedown stuffed.
Rubber takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Rubber closes this distance looking for a takedown but Finch circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Oliver Rubber. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Rubber drives through with a takedown into guard.
Rubber in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Finch manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Finch connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Rubber is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Finch has taken his back.

Finch is looking for the choke from the back position but Rubber is controlling his hands well.
Rubber is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Rubber is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Finch is working for a rear naked choke. Rubber is not defending it well and Finch has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Rubber refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Rubber's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
