Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Shigeki Fujiwara and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dubebreault shoots for a double leg takedown but Roberts sprawls well. He's pushed Dubebreault's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Roberts had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Dubebreault defends it easily.
Roberts is looking for a triangle but Dubebreault pushes his legs off easily.

Roberts feints a jab promting Dubebreault to slip. Roberts then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Dubebreault slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Dubebreault has closed the distance and engaged Roberts in a clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Charlie Roberts dominated that round.
That's time! Dubebreault's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Dubebreault tries to close the distance and clinch but Roberts swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Sloppy strikes from Roberts. Those never looked like landing.
Roberts throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Dubebreault sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Dubebreault cracks Roberts with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Roberts tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Dubebreault thuds his shin into the meat of Roberts's side.
Roberts shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Roberts showed some decent athleticism there.
Roberts takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Roberts is nestled in close to Dubebreault, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Roberts wants to free his trapped foot but Dubebreault is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Roberts working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Roberts connects with a nice short shot to Dubebreault's temple.

Roberts has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Dubebreault's face.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Roberts is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Dubebreault knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Dubebreault for a finish.

You can see the frustration on Dubebreault's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
