Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Petr Ondrus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sparky Sampson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ondrus's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, HARDCORE. Petr Ondrus had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 186.6lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Petr Ondrus could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Sparky Sampson's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sampson throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Ondrus tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Sampson is in Ondrus's guard.

Sampson drops back looking for a leg! Ondrus is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Ondrus manages to kick Sampson off! Sampson jumps back into Ondrus's guard.

Sampson goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Ondrus has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Sampson but great work by Ondrus.

Ondrus wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Sampson, who protects the arm well.
Sampson manages to get back to half guard.

Sampson has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Ondrus. Oh but Sampson has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Ondrus goes limp - he's gone! Sampson jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
