Emanuel has chosen Rush - Tom Sawyer as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Emanuel clinches.
Borgas misses with a hook to the ribs.
Borgas lands a right hand.
Borgas blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Borgas tries to break free but Emanuel pushes him back against the cage.
A nice left hand lands by Borgas.
The referee is keeping an eye on Emanuel - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
A frustrated look appears on Borgas's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Emanuel throws a knee to the head but misses.
Emanuel just leaning against Borgas, taking a breather.
Borgas is trying to break the clinch but Emanuel has him pressed against the cage.
Emanuel goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Emanuel is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Borgas has had enough of the clinch but Emanuel keeps him there for the moment.
Emanuel tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Borgas avoids it.
Borgas has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Emanuel is looking to take this one to the mat.

Borgas is trying to break the clinch but Emanuel has him pressed against the cage.
Emanuel has Borgas pressed against the cage, preventing Borgas from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Emanuel tries to work over Borgas's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Emanuel changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Borgas fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Emanuel takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Zorgas Borgas is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Borgas lands a left and a right that send Emanuel crashing to the mat, dazed. Borgas thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Emanuel is rocked!
Emanuel drops his hands for a split second and Borgas immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Emanuel face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Borgas follows up with a right hand that knocks Emanuel into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Zorgas Borgas!
