The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Costa misses with a takedown
and Jamm counters with a body kick.
Costa takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Jamm lands a leg kick that knocks Costa off balance momentarily.
Jamm throws a head kick that misses.
Jamm feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Costa's calf.
Jamm works the jab nicely.
Jamm looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

and Jamm counters with a nice leg kick.

and Jamm counters with a thumping low kick.
Jonah Jamm has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Quentin Costa.
Costa tries for a takedown but Jamm circles away easily
and Jamm cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

A lazy left from Jamm finds it's target.

and Jamm counters with a good low kick that Costa was not able to check.
Jamm dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Costa. That did some damage!

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Jamm wants to control from the top but Costa keeps moving.

Jamm gets to his feet and stands over Costa, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Costa felt that one! Jamm unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Costa from any more punishment!
