Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Fabricio Valakas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Wolfram (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Valakas kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Coolio - Gangster's Paradise. Wolfram has chosen Rakim- Guess Who's Back as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Jay Wolfram has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Valakas scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Wolfram is not content to let Valakas control the position.

We've been hearing that Valakas has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Wolfram parries the strikes from Valakas easily there. Valakas is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Wolfram to escape.

Valakas drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Wolfram dives on top into guard.

Valakas working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Wolfram doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Valakas is tightening it up a little... Wolfram has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Wolfram reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Wolfram taps out! Nice BJJ there by Valakas!
