Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Salvatore Bonnano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricky Corre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Salvatore Bonnano has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bonnano closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Corre to the mat! Corre manages to get full guard.
Bonnano trying to control the position from guard on top but Corre is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Bonnano knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Corre on the ground.
Corre wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Bonnano scores with a takedown into Corre's guard.
Corre is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Corre keeping full guard, as Bonnano tries to pass.
Bonnano is working hard here to advance position.
Bonnano wants to control from the top but Corre keeps moving.
Corre manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bonnano manages to get himself to full guard.

Corre decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Bonnano, up you get!
Bonnano looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Corre enables Bonnano to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Corre manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Corre pulls Bonnano in close to prevent any damage.
Bonnano has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Corre stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

Bonnano decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Bonnano is thwarting Corre's attempts to control the position.
Corre controlling the position for now.
Bonnano content to control rather than advance.

Corre regains full guard. Nicely done.
Corre pulls Bonnano in close to prevent any damage.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Ricky Corre hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Bonnano throws a head kick that misses.
Bonnano wants to clinch
and Corre counters with a head kick. That will keep Bonnano thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bonnano moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Bonnano changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Corre looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Corre is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bonnano is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Bonnano is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
Bonnano tries to buck Corre off but Corre is having none of it.

Corre decides to stand back up.

Bonnano shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Corre manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Bonnano is fighting to break Corre's control of his arms but Corre is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Corre has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Bonnano doesn't defend quickly enough and Corre has managed to lock this one up! Can Bonnano escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Corre on a fantastic submission victory.
