Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kyo Kusanagi!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Alyssa Summers and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kusanagi misses with a head kick.
Barsamian closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Kusanagi quickly recovers to half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Kusanagi is looking to get back to is feet but Barsamian passes into side control.
Kusanagi is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Barsamian is controlling him well.
Barsamian lands a few punches from side control.
It looks like Kyo Kusanagi has been cut.
Kusanagi wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kyo Kusanagi's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Barsamian fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Barsamian is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Kusanagi's shoulder. That is not cool.
Kusanagi gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
You get the feeling that Kusanagi really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Barsamian content just to control the position here.
Kusanagi is trying to get back to his feet but can't.

Barsamian landing strikes from the mount and Kusanagi is in trouble!

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Kyo Kusanagi's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
