Gilbert drops Ottway with a left and a right! Oh, Ottway is hurt - Gilbert dives into side control looking to finish!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ottway is looking to reverse the position.
Ottway keeps trying to improve his position.

Gilbert is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Ottway has escaped the position, nice work there.

Gilbert is working to tighten his grip on Ottway's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Ottway has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Gilbert is really squeezing tight and eventually Ottway passes out! Gilbert breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

After the fight, George Gilbert was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
