The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gaines throws a head kick that misses.

Owen Gaines seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The referee warns Gaines that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Oh Gaines is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Tungsten postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Gaines badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Tungsten around the waist but Tungsten pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Tungsten is the winner by TKO! Tungsten jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Serge Tungsten!
A pretty intense looking Serge Tungsten took the opportunity post-fight to ask for a shot at the title.
