Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Dux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Joe Allen will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Joe Allen!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Eliza Hachem and Chris Dean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dux throws a shot from downtown. Allen moves away and avoids it.
Allen shoots in for a double leg but Dux sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Dux ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Allen moves away.
Dux misses with a right hand
letting Allen counter with a right hand.

so Dux counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Dux might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Allen shoots in for a takedown but Dux shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Allen shoots for a double leg takedown but Dux sprawls well. He's pushed Allen's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
