Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Syd Datsik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sousuke Kamida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Datsik comes to the cage accompanied by Let The Rhythm Hit Em. Sousuke Kamida acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
An inside leg kick lands from Kamida.
Kamida showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Datsik.
Kamida throws a hook but Datsik blocks it.
Datsik swings for the body but Kamida moves out of range.

Kamida closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Datsik did well to prevent Kamida getting side control.

Kamida is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Datsik sees it coming and defends easily.
Datsik is trying to stand up here but Kamida is controlling him well.

Kamida is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Datsik defends it well.
Kamida tries to pass to full mount but Datsik defends it.
Kamida not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Kamida thows a huge punch but Datsik dodges it nicely.
Kamida wants to take a breather but Datsik is having none of it.
Kamida has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Elite Fighting Temple. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Datsik desperately trying to maintain half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Datsik trying to control but Kamida postures up.

Kamida is pressing down on Datsik's thigh, looking to free his foot. Datsik is holding on for now.
Datsik is trying to stand up here but Kamida is controlling him well.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Kamida tries to pass the half guard into mount. Datsik knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Kamida changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Kamida shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Datsik defends it nicely.
Datsik tries a head kick but it misses.
Datsik throws a jab when Kamida was well out of range.

Datsik closes the distance and clinches.
Kamida tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Datsik smiles and moves away.

Syd Datsik has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sousuke Kamida.
Kamida misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Datsik uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Sousuke Kamida seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Datsik ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kamida moves away.
Kamida swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Datsik throws out a loose jab but Kamida uses good head movement to avoid it.
Kamida jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Datsik lunges at Kamida with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Kamida's hand.
Kamida has a takedown stuffed.

Datsik drops Kamida with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Kamida looks back up at him and smiles so Datsik waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Kamida is still on wobbly legs! Can Datsik finish him?
Datsik lands a hook that stumbles Kamida back into the cage. Datsik follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Kamida to the canvas! Datsik pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Kamida has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
