Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Micah Sellers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Buslowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Adam Buslowski!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Jonathan Paton and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sellers tries to score a power double leg takedown but Buslowski sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sellers somewhat.
Buslowski connects with the punch.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Sellers is stalling here.
Sellers goes for a takedown in the clinch but Buslowski prevents it.

Sellers decides to pull guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Sellers is on top in guard.

Sellers with a flurry of punches that miss.
Sellers controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Sellers trying to control but Buslowski is working from the bottom.
Sellers working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Buslowski's head.

Sellers thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sellers accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Micah Sellers.

Buslowski lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Buslowski moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Buslowski throws a nice looking combination but Sellers bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Sellers tries for a takedown but Buslowski sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

That was a close round but I would say that Micah Sellers will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Sellers tries to pull guard but Buslowski forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Sellers wants to get back to his feet but Buslowski is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Buslowski is looking to stand up but Sellers won't let him.
Sellers manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Buslowski manages to get himself to full guard.

Sellers not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

We're going to have a standup here because Micah Sellers wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Buslowski scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Sellers doesn't seem bothered though.

and Sellers counters with a solid body kick.

Sellers shoots in and drives through. Buslowski sprawls well.
Buslowski tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Sellers manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Buslowski on his heels. He'll look to pass Buslowski's guard now, I'm sure.

Buslowski really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sellers. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Buslowski wants to get back to his feet but Sellers is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Sellers controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Micah Sellers just wasn't active enough.

Buslowski clinches up with Sellers and pushes him back against the cage.

Sellers gets control of Buslowski's arms and successfully pulls guard. Sellers will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Sellers holds on and takes a little breather.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Sellers fails to land the takedown.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Buslowski just misses with a punch to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Micah Sellers dominated that second round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!


Buslowski will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Buslowski shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Sellers eats them both and turns towards Buslowski to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Buslowski stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Buslowski wants it to stay on the feet.

Sellers breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Sellers jumps guard and drags Buslowski to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Buslowski won't allow Sellers to get back to his feet.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Buslowski stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Buslowski wants it to stay on the feet.

Buslowski tries to sprawl but Sellers drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Sellers is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Buslowski is just riding it out for now. Sellers eventually gives up the hold.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Sellers stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

And that's the end of the fight!
Micah Sellers showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Sellers, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
