Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Arron Hart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Riggs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mike Riggs has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Arron Hart!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mike Riggs!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riggs tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Hart defends well and Riggs ends up having to push Hart into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Riggs tries for a takedown. No joy.
Hart effectively controlling the action here.

Riggs has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Hart is trying to keep an underhook but Riggs manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Riggs looks winded!
Hart wants to improve his position but Riggs is controlling well.
Riggs is thwarting Hart's attempts to control the position.
Hart is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Riggs is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Hart is trying to stand up here but Riggs is controlling him well.

Hart desperately trying to maintain half guard.

We're going to have a standup here because Arron Hart wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Riggs shoots in and gets a takedown into Hart's guard.
Hart wants to stand up but Riggs is controlling him.
Hart really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Riggs postures up in Hart's guard and throws a big left but Hart blocks it.

Hart is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Riggs defends well.

Hart keeping moving, preventing Riggs from controlling successfully.
Riggs throwing strikes but missing.
Riggs stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hart swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Hart is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Arron Hart just wasn't active enough.
Riggs with a lazy takedown attempt

and Hart counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Hart.
Arron Hart has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Riggs.
Riggs has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Hart after a bit of a struggle.
Hart tries to pull guard but Riggs holds him up against the cage and eventually Hart drops back down to his feet.
Riggs misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Hart.
Riggs jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Hart walks away with a smile on his face. Riggs gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Hart closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Riggs quickly recovers to half guard.

Hart is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Riggs doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Hart.
Hart thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Riggs's head.

Hart seems to be looking for submissions.

Hart is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Riggs is just riding it out for now. Hart eventually gives up the hold.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Hart wants to work for an arm triangle but Riggs is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Arron Hart will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

and Hart counters with a low kick, right behind Riggs 's knee.

Hart drives through and clinches with Riggs against the cage.
Hart stalling the fight.

Hart successfully pulls guard.
Hart is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Riggs trying to control the position from guard on top but Hart is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Hart is looking to stand up but Riggs isn't so interested in that idea.
Riggs is breathing heavily.

Hart is trying to control the position but Riggs postures up.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Riggs misses with a takedown attempt
and Hart counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Arron Hart has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Riggs.
Hart avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Riggs closes the distance but Hart moves to the side
and Hart counters with an inside leg kick.

Hart clinches up against the cage.
Riggs tries to pull guard but Hart holds him up against the cage and eventually Riggs drops back down to his feet.

Hart manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Hart wants to sweep but no luck.
Riggs pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hart is keeping the position for now.
Hart wants to get back to his feet but Riggs is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Hart looking for a guillotine here but Riggs defends easily.

Hart looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Hart has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Hart trying to keep a closed guard but Riggs is proving a slippery customer.
Hart wants to control but Riggs passes easily into half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Arron Hart dominated that second round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!


Riggs shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hart pinned against the cage. Hart gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Hart looks for a takedown but Riggs sprawls well.
Riggs goes for a double leg but Hart avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Hart continues to drive forward.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hart ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Hart no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hart striking off his back but it's not causing Riggs any problems.

Riggs throws a head kick but Hart moves out of range.

Riggs fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hart avoids it really well and circles away.

Hart defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Riggs.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hart chips away with some ground and pound.

Riggs has his feet on Hart's thighs here. He's pushed Hart off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Hart screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

Mike Riggs seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
