Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Craig Holcomb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Albert Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Albert Green will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, William Gold and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Green drives through and clinches with Holcomb against the cage.
Green tries to pull guard but Holcomb holds him up against the cage and eventually Green drops back down to his feet.
Green gets underhooks to prevent Holcomb's takedown attempt.

Green has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Holcomb is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

It looks like Albert Green has been cut.

Green stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Holcomb swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Green passes Holcomb's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Holcomb scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Green manages to mount him!

Green manages to capitalize on a mistake by Holcomb to take his back!

Green is not going to allow Holcomb to sit and survive in this position.
Holcomb is really stuck here.
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Green's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
Green keeps control of the position as Holcomb tries to break free.
I would not like to be Holcomb right now.
Green is trying to stick to Holcomb's back but Holcomb is turning into Green. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Green's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Holcomb.
Holcomb is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Holcomb might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Holcomb has control of Green's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Green regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Holcomb, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
