Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tomo Fez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Lopez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lopez dodges the punch combination from Fez.

Fez shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lopez but Lopez pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Lopez got a little sloppy there for a moment and Fez has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Lopez has managed to get both his arms back between Fez's legs - danger averted.

That was a close round but I would say that Tomo Fez will probably get the nod.

Lopez shoots in for a double leg but Fez sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Lopez dives in for a single leg takedown but Fez sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Lopez is pressed up against the cage. Fez has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Lopez down to the mat. Lopez avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Fez tries to close the distance and clinch but Lopez swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Lopez lands a head kick. Fez smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Fez scores with a nice right hand.
Fez darts in looking for a takedown but Lopez gets double underhooks and turns Fez into the cage.
This has been an exciting period of action!
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Lopez.

Lopez drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Fez gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Fez has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Lopez is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Fez has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Lopez avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Lopez is fighting off a takedown attempt but Fez is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Lopez to the mat. Lopez regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

That was a close second round but I would say that Tomo Fez will probably get the nod.

Lopez isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Fez stacks Lopez on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Fez!
