The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bean takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Bean shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Nemtsov as he avoids it easily.

Nemtsov has taken the fight to the clinch.
Nemtsov can't break the clinch.
Nemtsov is looking to break free of the clinch but Bean has double underhooks.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Nemtsov as Bean tries to tie him up.
Nemtsov lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Bean keeps control of Nemtsov as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Nemtsov looking to throw knees to the head but Bean is blocking nicely.
Bean tries to stall but Nemtsov uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Bean wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Bean takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

and Nemtsov counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Bean thinking.

Nemtsov gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Bean trying to control the position but instead, Nemtsov has worked for underhooks and has pushed Bean into the cage.

Bean tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Nemtsov paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Bean shoots in but no luck this time.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Nemtsov creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Nemtsov has had enough of the clinch but Bean keeps him there for the moment.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Nemtsov rushes Bean with punches - Bean moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Bean goes down! Nemtsov follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
