The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Jones showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Nott.
Nott walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Nott throws a push kick but Jones slaps the foot to one side.
Nice shot by Nott.
Nott lands a jab to the nose.
Jones pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Jones looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Nott has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Nott's corner calls for a 1-2. Nott obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Aaron Nott seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jones misses with a head kick.
A jab lands there for Nott.
Jones throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
A jab from Nott finds it's way through Jones's defenses.
Nott punishes Jones's body with a nice straight punch.
Nott scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Jones tries to close the distance and clinch up but Nott swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Jones is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Jones drops his hands momentarily and Nott takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Nott jabs at Jones's body.

Jones looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Nott is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Nott has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Jones pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Nott lands a jab-cross combination.
Jones moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Nott fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Jones looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Nott scores with a punch to the head.
Jones scores with a nice strike.
Nott connects with a crisp jab.
Nott connects with a body shot that sends Jones's belly button to the back.
Nott throws a series of punches but Jones moves out of range.
Nott lands with a good body shot.
Nott scores with a decent looking hook.
Nott paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Jones tries to clinch but Nott is having none of it.

Oooooh!!! Nott has knocked Jones down with a huge combo! Nott steps away and waves a wobbly Jones back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Jones is rocked!
Nott grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Jones takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Nott cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
