Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fabio Marques (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zsiga Venczel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marques comes to the cage accompanied by mosh. Zsiga Venczel has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marques slips a straight right by Venczel.
Marques takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Venczel keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Venczel looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Marques's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Marques duly obliges.
A telegraphed right hand from Marques misses the target.
Venczel scores with a kick to the midsection.
Marques swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Venczel misses with a low kick.
Marques uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Venczel.
Venczel throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Venczel throws a body kick that misses.
Venczel misses with a few strikes there.
Marques looks to land a combination but Venczel avoids it well.
Venczel is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Marques.
Marques loads up on a big right hand but Venczel slips the punch.
A thudding body kick lands there by Venczel!

Venczel is looking to chop away at Marques's legs.
Marques fails to land with a series of punches.
Marques avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Venczel lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Marques jabs Venczel right on the nose. Venczel blinks but takes it well.

Venczel swings for the body but Marques moves out of range.
Marques tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Venczel was well out of range. Poor timing from Marques.
Marques swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Venczel connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Venczel looks to land a body kick but Marques moved away.
Zsiga Venczel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

A big left from Venczel misses.
Marques throws a jab when Venczel was well out of range.
Venczel throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Venczel looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Venczel misses the shot to the body.
Marques blocks a head kick by Venczel.
Venczel throws an overhand right that lands on Marques's shoulder, as Marques tries to avoid the shot.
Marques on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Venczel bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Venczel takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Marques staying out of range there.
No joy there for Marques, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Venczel misses the shot to the body.
Venczel tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Marques crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Venczel - the referee stops the clock and Marques gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Venczel. Marques manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Venczel fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Marques keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Venczel.
A bone on bone clash there as Marques blocks the leg kick.
Venczel throws a right hand that misses
and Marques counters with a nice uppercut.

Venczel is rocked!
Marques lands an uppercut, right on the button! Venczel tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
