Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Peter Coxwell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Who (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Coxwell comes to the cage accompanied by Messiah by Konflict (Nosia Remix). Who has chosen Requiem for a tower as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jay Who!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Elvis Blanc and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coxwell rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Who moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Coxwell throws a good cross that connects.
Coxwell darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Coxwell looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Coxwell throws a right hand that Who ducks under and follows up with a left that Who also avoids with ease.
Coxwell fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Who manages to avoid it.

Who drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Who is looking to take a break and control but Coxwell is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Coxwell is looking for a sweep.
Coxwell is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Who off and has taken his back!
I really don't envy Who right now.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Horrible takedown by Who or perhaps it was just good defense by Coxwell which made him look bad.

Who is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Coxwell defends it well.

That was a close round but I would say that Peter Coxwell will probably get the nod.

Who has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Coxwell! Can he survive? No! He's out! Who gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
