Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are William Peck, Gregory Folan and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Townsend blocks a jab.
Takeshi throws a jab when Townsend was well out of range.
Takeshi connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Townsend's hands.
It looks like Kenneth Townsend has been cut.
Takeshi throws a lazy right hand but Townsend sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Townsend uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Takeshi.
Takeshi misses with the combination.
Townsend checks a leg kick nicely.
An inside leg kick from Takeshi misses.
Takeshi waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Townsend.
Takeshi throws out a loose jab but Townsend uses good head movement to avoid it.

Takeshi throws a shot from downtown. Townsend moves away and avoids it.
Takeshi throws a hook but Townsend avoids it easily.
Townsend shoots in looking for a takedown. Takeshi tries to sprawl out of it but Townsend keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Takeshi manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Townsend slips under a jab.

Townsend shoots in for a takedown but Takeshi shows good takedown defense.
Takeshi sizes up Townsend with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Takeshi misses with a double jab.
Townsend tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Takeshi swivels and escapes.
Danger Takeshi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kenneth Townsend.
Takeshi throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Townsend bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Takeshi loads up on a big right hand but Townsend slips the punch.

Townsend with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Takeshi to score with a decent uppercut.
That has opened up Kenneth Townsend's cut even more.
Danger Takeshi is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Townsend slips a jab from Takeshi.
Danger Takeshi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Takeshi throws a hook but Townsend blocks it.
Townsend is trying desperately to land a takedown but Takeshi is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Townsend.
Townsend ducks under a wild hook from Takeshi.

Townsend looks for a takedown but Takeshi sprawls well.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Takeshi swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Takeshi is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Takeshi's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.
Takeshi drops Townsend with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Townsend looks back up at him and smiles so Takeshi waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Townsend is rocked!
Nice takedown defense from Takeshi. No joy for Townsend on that attempt.
Takeshi drops Townsend with a naaaaasty hook - Townsend is in real trouble here! Takeshi dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
