Pablo has chosen smoke the fire as his entrance music. Juan Pablo is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Juan Pablo!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Edson Gomes and Matheus Silva.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ferrari pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Pablo seems to have recovered his senses.
Pablo tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ferrari sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Pablo somewhat.
Pablo closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ferrari circles away.
Ferrari turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Ferrari is looking to slow Pablo down with leg kicks.
Pablo on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

That kick from Ferrari tenderised Pablo's leg. Pablo is trying to keep his angry face on.

Pablo has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Ferrari.

Ferrari fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Pablo has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Pablo gets hit by the mother of all head kicks and drops to the canvas in a crumpled heap! Woooow, the Internet is going to be talking about this one for weeks!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:10 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Marcelo Ferrari!
A relieved looking Marcelo Ferrari thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
