The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moreno gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Kanajawan counters with a leg kick.
Kanajawan lands with a kick to the ribs.

Kanajawan looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Moreno!
Kanajawan taking a breather here.
Kanajawan throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Moreno works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kanajawan is trying to control the action in half guard but Moreno is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Pim Kanajawan wasn't active enough on the ground.
Moreno is looking to clinch.
Moreno throws a head kick that misses

and Kanajawan counters with a crisp one two that drops Moreno! Kanajawan thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Moreno to his feet! Moreno is in big trouble!
