Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ernesto Hall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyvell Boom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ernesto Hall!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tyvell Boom!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Aafke Stam and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hall darts in trying to clinch

and Boom counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Boom.
Boom trying to control but Hall is working from the bottom.
Hall controls Boom momentarily but Boom frees himself.
Boom with a flurry of punches that miss.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Hall wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Boom stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hall swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Hall really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Boom wants to control from the top but Hall keeps moving.
Boom tries to free his leg and advance position but Hall is retaining full guard.
Boom throws a big right hand that misses.
Boom trying to control but Hall is working from the bottom.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Tyvell Boom was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Boom fails with the takedown

and Hall counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Hall slowing the pace effectively.
Boom changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Hall fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Boom tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Ernesto Hall has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tyvell Boom.

Boom has closed the distance and engaged Hall in a clinch.
Boom jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Hall walks away with a smile on his face. Boom gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Hall tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Boom paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Hall moves in looking to clinch but Boom pushes him off.
Hall is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Boom tries for a takedown but Hall circles away easily

and Hall counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Hall has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Boom is proving hard to escape from.

Boom working for a triangle but Hall defends it easily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Boom looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hall is one step ahead there.

Boom is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Hall defends well.
Boom trying to keep a closed guard but Hall is proving a slippery customer.

Hall wants to get up but he can't break Boom's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Boom looking for a sweep. Not yet Boom, not yet.

Boom manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Hall manages to get himself to full guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Hall keeping moving, preventing Boom from controlling successfully.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hall pulls Boom in to control the position.
Boom throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Hall works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Boom throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Boom closes the distance but Hall moves to the side

and Hall counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Hall presses Boom against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Hall is looking to control Boom's arms but Boom gets an underhook and turns him. Now Hall has his back to the cage.
Boom is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Hall to keep the fight standing.
Hall is working Boom over against the cage.
Boom fails to pull guard.

Boom struggles to land a body shot inside as Hall controls his hands.
Hall wants a takedown.
Boom looking for a takedown.
Ernesto Hall has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tyvell Boom.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Boom slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Tyvell Boom has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Boom shoots in for a takedown but Hall shows good takedown defense.

Hall tries to clinch but Boom moves out of range.
Hall tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Boom paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Boom fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Hall, pushing him back against the cage.
Boom tries to pull guard but Hall holds him up against the cage and eventually Boom drops back down to his feet.
Hall will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Boom up against the cage.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Boom goes for a takedown in the clinch but Hall prevents it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tyvell Boom showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Boom wants to break free but Hall has control.
Boom is looking for a takedown.
Hall is defending well against a takedown attempt.

Hall pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Boom keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Hall tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Boom keeps the fight on the outside.

Hall doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Boom counters with a takedown into side control.
Boom wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hall keeps working.
Boom in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Boom throwing shots but missing, from side control.
Hall can't do much from the bottom here.
Boom wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hall keeps working.
Hall trying his best to control but Boom has mounted him.
Boom throws some wild stikes that Hall manages to avoid easily.
Hall knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Boom on the ground.
Poor strikes thrown by Boom there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Boom unloads with some shots from mount but Hall bucks and avoids them well.
Boom misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Boom looking to finish Hall with some ground and pound. This is bad for Hall!
Hall sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Hall controlling the position well.
Boom throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Boom looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Boom prevents Hall from improving his position.
Boom thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Boom missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.

Hall is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Boom pulls his head out easily.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Boom landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Boom is nestled in close to Hall, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Boom is keen to just control but Hall is a slippery customer.

Boom has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Hall tries to roll over but Boom keeps him under control.
Boom looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Hall with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Boom is looking to advance position but Hall won't allow it.
Boom trying to control the action but Hall is working from the bottom.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Boom throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Boom in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Hall tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Boom!
