The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barr tries to land a front kick but Arlovski steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Barr tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Arlovski throws a sloppy head kick and Barr moves out of range easily.
Barr tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Arlovski paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Barr fails with an attempt to clinch.
Arlovski connects with a looping right hand.
Barr blocks a head kick by Arlovski.
Barr moves out of range of the body kick from Arlovski.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Barr seems to be looking for submissions.

Barr is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Arlovski is just riding it out for now. Barr eventually gives up the hold.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Barr winds up and cracks Arlovski with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Arlovski throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Barr blocks it with crossed arms.
Barr has Arlovski pressed against the cage, preventing Arlovski from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Arlovski ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Arlovski no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Barr is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Arlovski is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Andrei Arlovski is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

You can see the frustration on Arlovski's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Andrei Arlovski comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Arlovski has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
