Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Woody May (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sergei Garkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). May's entrance music is Watch you Bleed by FFDP. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Woody May!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 11 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sergei Garkov!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paul Aken and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garkov looks to land a right hand but May moved out of range.
Garkov has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Garkov tries to clinch but May moves out of range.
May steps into range and cracks Garkov with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Garkov flops backwards and May dives into his guard looking to finish!
It looks like Sergei Garkov has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Garkov wants to stand but May is controlling the position.
Garkov looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
May not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
May won't allow Garkov to get back to his feet.
Garkov has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Garkov avoids a punch combination nicely.
Woody May seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
May clinches.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as May takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
May lands a left hand.
May breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Garkov misses with a double jab.
Garkov wants to clinch.
May bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
May drops Garkov with a big left hand and mounts him. Garkov is in big trouble!
Garkov is rocked!

May get's back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
May fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Garkov square on the jaw! Damn, Garkov is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
