Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mathieu Lemieux!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Steve Smith and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lemieux throws a right and a left that Ellis avoids nicely.
Lemieux scores with a body shot.
Ellis throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Lemieux misses with a hook
and Ellis counters with a nice double leg into side control. Lemieux won't be happy with that.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Lemieux is working to avoid the ground and pound but Ellis connects with a decent elbow.
Ellis throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Lemieux dodges the ground and pound from Ellis.
Lemieux is trying to get back to his feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lemieux throws Ellis to one side and escapes!
That's one minute gone in the round.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Ellis breaks from the clinch.
Ellis blocks a head kick by Lemieux.
Lemieux stalks Ellis and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Ellis's face. Ellis staggers backwards, shaken.
It looks like Dorian Ellis has been cut.
Ellis keeps the fight on the outside.
Lemieux scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Lemieux fails with an attempt to clinch.
Lemieux with a nice cross.
Ellis is rocked!
Lemieux darts in and clinches Ellis up against the cage.
Ellis tries to throw a body punch but Lemieux avoids it by throwing Ellis back against the cage.
Ellis manages to break the clinch.
Lemieux throws a hook but Ellis avoids it easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Lemieux lands a jab-cross combination.
Oh Ellis is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Lemieux misses with a wild combination.
Lemieux throws a series of punches but Ellis moves out of range.
Lemieux looks winded!
Lemieux circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Ellis to the canvas! Ellis doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Lemieux keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mathieu Lemieux!
After winning the bout, Mathieu Lemieux thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
