The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marleau shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Marleau showed some decent athleticism there.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Augustine wants to improve his position but Marleau is controlling well.
My spies in The Cave Fighting Team inform me that Marleau has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
