Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Royce Paiva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zene Zamora (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zene Zamora will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zamora fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Paiva tries for a takedown but Zamora circles away easily
and Zamora makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
A combination from Zamora does no damage.
Zamora misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Paiva blocks a head kick by Zamora.
Zamora scores with a jab to the head.
Paiva avoids the body shot from Zamora.

Paiva clinches with his opponent.
Zamora will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Paiva up against the cage.

Paiva jumps guard and drags Zamora to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Paiva working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Zamora doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Paiva is tightening it up a little... Zamora has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Zamora reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Zamora taps out! Nice BJJ there by Paiva!
