Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Iain James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tonis Liete (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Marco Blurström and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liete keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Liete lands a head shot.
Liete chopping away at his opponent's legs.
James closes the distance looking to clinch
and Liete counters with a stiff right hand.
James tries to clinch but Liete moves out of range.
Liete lands a body shot.
James throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Liete blocks a leg kick.
A swing and a miss from James.
James tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Liete manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
James throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Liete misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Liete lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from James - that will leave a mark!
James misses with a body kick.
James tries to clinch up
and Liete counters with a left and a right that stings James.
James is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round.
James switches off momentarily and Liete cracks him with a monster right hand! James topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Liete dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Liete!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Tonis Liete!
