Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Christopher Reyes!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Paulo Santos and Mauricio Rocha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reyes lands with a nice body punch.
Carreira throws a right hand that Reyes ducks under and follows up with a left that Reyes also avoids with ease.
Carreira takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Reyes checks a low kick from Carreira.
Reyes lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Carreira at a distance.
Carreira throws a right and a left that both miss.
Carreira fails with a takedown attempt.
Carreira looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Reyes scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Reyes closes the distance and lands a one-two.


It looks like Francisco Carreira has been cut.
Carreira is breathing heavily.
Carreira tries to close the distance and clinch but Reyes swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Reyes bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Carreira's head.
Francisco Carreira seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Reyes drops Carreira with a right and a left! Reyes comes rushing in but Carreira regains his composure and manages to keep Reyes in guard.


Carreira is rocked!
Reyes is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Oh Carreira is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Carreira seems to have got his legs back now.
Carreira keeping moving, preventing Reyes from controlling successfully.

Reyes drops back looking for a leg! Carreira is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Carreira manages to kick Reyes off! Reyes jumps back into Carreira's guard.
Reyes wants to pass the guard but Carreira is keeping the position.
Carreira being controlled here, momentarily.
Reyes advances to half guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Carreira wants to improve his position but Reyes is controlling well.
Reyes wants to lay and pray for a moment but Carreira keeps working.

Despite being in the dominant position, Christopher Reyes just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Carreira takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Reyes lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Christopher Reyes is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Reyes drops Carreira with a nice combination! Reyes dives into Carreira's guard, looking to finish!
Reyes passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Reyes looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Reyes wants to control but Carreira is keeping him busy.

The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Carreira striking from the bottom but nothing landed.

Reyes thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Reyes is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Carreira is trying to escape and Reyes transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Carreira is forced to tap! Nice work there by Reyes! Very nice indeed!
