The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Yves DeLean and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Butler is defended easily by Oakheart.
Butler takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Butler drops his hands momentarily and Oakheart takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Oakheart is looking to slow Butler down with leg kicks.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Butler throws a combination that misses
and Oakheart makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Butler throws a body punch but Oakheart moves out of range.
Oakheart sends Butler crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Oakheart is motioning to the referee to let Butler up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Butler is rocked!
Oakheart closes the distance and clinches.
Butler is still on wobbly legs! Can Oakheart finish him?
Oakheart creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Butler with a big uppercut! Butler tries to clinch up but Oakheart pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Butler to the mat! Butler covers up and Oakheart unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Buck Oakheart!
