Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Evan Justice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Dover (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Evan Justice!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ben Dover!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Radbod Blank and Aafke Stam.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dover keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Justice fails to land the takedown.
Dover connects with a body shot.
Dover shoots for a takedown but Justice saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Dover is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Dover rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Justice moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Dover instigates a clinch.
Justice is trying to force a seperation but Dover has the dominant position.

Dover manages to break the clinch.
Justice is looking to clinch but Dover is avoiding it.
A nice combination there by Justice.
Dover throws a head kick that looked like it stung.


It looks like Evan Justice has been cut.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Dover moves into the clinch successfully.
Dover is trying to pull guard but Justice has him pressed against the cage.

Justice breaks the clinch.

Dover closes the distance and clinches.
Dover tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Justice smiles and moves away.
Evan Justice has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ben Dover.

Dover rushes Justice and presses him up against the cage.
Justice wants to get back to striking at distance but Dover won't allow it.
Justice tries to throw a body punch but Dover avoids it by throwing Justice back against the cage.
Dover is pushing Justice up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

The referee calls for Justice to work.
Dover manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Dover avoiding damage as Justice throws knees to the body.
Justice leaning his opponent against the cage.
Dover drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Justice gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Dover working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Justice blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Justice will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Dover up against the cage.
Justice is trying to force a seperation but Dover has the dominant position.
Dover fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Dover breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Justice closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Dover to the mat! Dover manages to get full guard.
Justice stops Dover from standing up.
Justice sitting in guard here, content to control.

Justice gets to his feet. Dover looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
No luck for Dover with that takedown attempt.
Dover fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Justice avoids it really well and circles away.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Justice throws a sloppy head kick and Dover moves out of range easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Ben Dover will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Evan Justice's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Justice scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Dover moves into the clinch.
Dover jumps guard but Justice stands there with Dover around his waist. Dover gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Justice stops a takedown attempt from Dover.
Dover can't get the takedown.
Evan Justice has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ben Dover.
Justice wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Justice wants to stall.

Dover breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Justice misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Justice looking for a takedown here - he's got it.

Dover has his foot on Justice's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Justice works his way back into a safe position though.

Justice is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Justice drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Dover manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Justice has Dover in his guard.
Justice has his hands on Dover's head, controlling the position.

Justice is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Dover trying to control but Justice is working from the bottom.
Dover wanted to stand there but Justice had control of the position.
Dover won't allow Justice to get back to his feet.
Justice has Dover pulled in close to control his posture.
Justice is trying to keep Dover in close.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Evan Justice.
A thudding body kick lands there by Dover!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Dover tries to keep at a distance but Justice has taken the fight into the clinch.

Dover has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Justice is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Dover is trying to pull guard but Justice has him pressed against the cage.
Dover lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Justice breaks the clinch.
Justice shoots in and drives through. Dover sprawls well.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Evan Justice will probably get the nod.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!



Justice closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Justice decides to stand up, so the ref orders Dover to his feet.
Dover goes for a double leg but Justice avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Justice continues to drive forward.
Justice slows down the pace here.
Justice gets underhooks to prevent Dover's takedown attempt.
Dover makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Dover escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Justice keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Justice shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Dover napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Justice looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Justice has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Justice wants to stall.
Dover lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Justice has Dover pushed against the cage.
Justice has had enough of the clinch but Dover keeps him there for the moment.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Dover is working for takedown but Justice is calmly controlling the position for now.

Dover breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Dover wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Dover pushes Justice up against the cage in a clinch.
Dover is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Justice to keep the fight standing.

Dover breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Sloppy strikes from Dover. Those never looked like landing.
Justice throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Dover instigates a clinch.

Dover escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Horrible takedown by Dover or perhaps it was just good defense by Justice which made him look bad.
Dover looks to land a body kick but Justice moved away.

Justice shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Justice was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Justice thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Justice taking a breather here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Justice stands up.

And that's the end of the fight!
Evan Justice showed his dominance in that final round.
