Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between mark strike (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Helios black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, mark strike!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Helios black!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Frank Dennis and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

black closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
strike is trying to maintain the position but black is very close to passing his half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
strike misses with some strikes from the bottom.
black works his way into side control.
A lull in the action here as black stalls from top position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
strike tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but black presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
black looking to control and managing it successfully.
black's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
black avoids the attempt from strike to control.
strike is wriggling around trying to escape.

black tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
strike keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
strike tries to hold on but black postures up.
black sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
strike is looking to get to half guard.
black controlling the pace for now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Helios black dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

strike gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

strike pushes black off and gets back to his feet.

black shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

black won't allow strike to sweep him here.
black is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
strike is pulling down on black's head. It's preventing any offense from black, at least for the moment.
strike will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
strike is trying to control the position from the bottom.

black tries to free his leg and advance position but strike is retaining full guard.

strike throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
black stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. strike swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

black fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. strike sprawls well initially but black persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
strike trying to control but black postures up.
black is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
strike is trying is best to control the position here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Helios black showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

and black counters with a shoot takedown. strike fights it but they end up in guard.

strike will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

strike pulls black in to control the position.
black trying to control the position from guard on top but strike is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

strike wants to stand up but black is controlling him.

strike is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
mark strike has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
strike being controlled here, momentarily.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

strike is looking for a triangle here but black uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Helios black is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
strike is pushing black's head away, looking to escape. black manages to hold on to the position though.

Helios black comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well black has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
