Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marc Small (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gosho Ludoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ludoto is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Imala maika. Marc Small has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ludoto keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Small gets tackled into the cage by Ludoto. Ludoto maintains the clinch.

Small breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Gosho Ludoto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Small shoots in but no luck this time.
Small could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Ludoto tries to close the distance and clinch but Small swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Small - that will leave a mark!

Ludoto has closed the distance and engaged Small in a clinch.

Small breaks the clinch.
Ludoto throws the kick towards the body but Small avoids it.
Small on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ludoto fails to land with a series of punches.

Ludoto rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Small moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

The fight stays on the outside here - Small looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Ludoto fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Ludoto will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Ludoto doesn't manage to clinch there - Small circles away.
Small looks to score with a jab to the body but Ludoto is just out of range.
Ludoto tries to close the distance and clinch up but Small swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Ludoto fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Ludoto throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Small is looking for a triangle but Ludoto pushes his legs off easily.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ludoto accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Small is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Small is breathing heavily.
Ludoto missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Ludoto stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Small swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Ludoto avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ludoto content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Ludoto throws a big right hand that misses.
Small has a closed guard, preventing Ludoto from standing up.
Ludoto really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Small. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Small has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ludoto can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Ludoto is looking to stand up but Small won't let him.

Ludoto has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Small is proving hard to escape from.
Ludoto must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Ludoto wants to control from the top but Small keeps moving.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ludoto connects with the punch.

It looks like Marc Small has been cut.
Small is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Ludoto moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:15 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gosho Ludoto!
Gosho Ludoto opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
