Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Theodore Ruxpin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Osaka Niten Ichi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Theodore Ruxpin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Osaka Niten Ichi!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Atkins and Andrew Berry.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A lazy left from Ruxpin finds it's target.
Ruxpin moves out of range as Ichi strikes.
Ichi misses with a double jab.
Ruxpin cracks Ichi with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Ichi closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Ruxpin did well to prevent Ichi getting side control.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Ichi is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Ichi missing with the ground and pound from half guard.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Ichi working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Ruxpin is controlling Ichi's position as best he can from this difficult position.

Ichi cracks Ruxpin with a solid left hand.

Ichi postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Ichi is in close to Ruxpin's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Ichi wants to control from the top but Ruxpin keeps moving.
Ruxpin looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Ichi prevents Ruxpin from getting back to his feet.

Ichi pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Ruxpin is keeping the position for now.

Ichi stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Ruxpin has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Ichi manages to get his head free but now Ruxpin has transitioned to an armbar! Ichi grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Ruxpin! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
