Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tarmo Hovi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dimentiy Boykin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hovi comes into the arena with Die for Metal blaring out of the sound system. Boykin comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Пересмотри kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boykin cracks Hovi with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Hovi leaves Boykin with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Hovi lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Hovi defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Boykin.
Boykin tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Hovi defends well and Boykin ends up having to push Hovi into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Tarmo Hovi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dimentiy Boykin.
Hovi lands with a short shot to the head.
Hovi lands a hook to the side of the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hovi misses with a hook to the ribs.
Boykin tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Hovi smiles and moves away.
Boykin tries to clinch there but Hovi circles away.
Boykin goes for a double leg but Hovi avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Hovi continues to drive forward.
Hovi lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Boykin or not.
Boykin looks winded!
Boykin jumps guard but Hovi turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Hovi stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Hovi presses Boykin against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hovi doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Hovi lands a right hand.
A right handed body shot lands from Hovi.
Hovi lands a shoulder strike.
Hovi misses with a hook to the ribs.
Boykin jumps guard but Hovi stands there with Boykin around his waist. Boykin gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Hovi can't find room to land a body shot as Boykin controls the action.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Hovi.
Hovi lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Boykin backwards.
Boykin tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Hovi just stands there and leans against the cage.
Boykin has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Hovi after a bit of a struggle.
A hook to the body from Hovi.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A body shot lands from Hovi.
Hovi can't find room to land a body shot as Boykin controls the action.
Hovi lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Boykin backwards.
Hovi lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Hovi pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Boykin is looking to clinch but Hovi is avoiding it.
Boykin dives in and grabs Hovi's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hovi pushes down on Boykin's head and hops out.
Boykin fails to land the takedown.
Boykin takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
It looks like Dimentiy Boykin has been cut.
Hovi cracks Boykin with a right hand to the side of the head.
Boykin shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hovi but Hovi pushes him off and we're back to square one.
A solid body kick from Hovi.
Hovi throws a quick inside leg kick.
Hovi moves into the clinch.
Hovi escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Hovi keeps the fight on the outside.
Hovi swings for the body but Boykin moves out of range.
Horrible takedown attempt by Boykin or perhaps it was just good defense by Hovi, which made it look bad.
Boykin is trying desperately to land a takedown but Hovi is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Boykin.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Hovi throws a sloppy head kick and Boykin moves out of range easily.
Boykin tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Hovi counters with a right hand to the body.
Hovi feints and then cracks Boykin's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Boykin down.
Hovi lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Hovi looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Hovi backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Boykin's temple! It sends Boykin violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Hovi celebrates and the doctors try to help Boykin!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Flying Knee). Tarmo Hovi!
Tarmo Hovi was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
