Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Irvin Potter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wojtek Dur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Wojtek Dur enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Irvin Potter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Wojtek Dur!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Jonathan Paton and Anthony Taglia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Potter gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Dur breaks the clinch.
Potter dives in for a single leg takedown but Dur sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Dur wants to break the clinch but can't.
Potter throws a knee to the head but misses.
Potter tries to pull guard but Dur forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Dur looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Dur putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Potter in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Potter has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Potter prevents Dur from breaking the clinch.

Dur breaks from the clinch.

Dur fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Potter, pushing him back against the cage.

Dur gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Potter regains guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Potter is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Dur pushes down on Potter's leg and manages to get into half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Potter is concentrating on defense, preventing Dur from advancing position.

Dur seems to be looking for submissions.
Potter is trying to stand back up but Dur is controlling him
Potter wants to control but Dur is keeping busy.
Potter is not content to let Dur control the position.
Dur might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Potter haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Dur is working for a kimura but Potter is defending it quite comfortably.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Dur seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Potter does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Potter manages to get to full guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Dur wants to control from the top but Potter keeps moving.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Potter is on top in guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Potter content to stall in guard here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dur wants to get back to his feet but Potter is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Dur is working an open guard so Potter takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Dur throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Dur looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Potter gets back to full guard.
Dur stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Potter swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Dur trying to control but Potter is working from the bottom.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Wojtek Dur dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!


Nice body kick from Dur.
Dur stuffs the takedown.
Dur throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.


It looks like Irvin Potter has been cut.
Dur moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Potter uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Dur.
Potter could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Potter.
Potter fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Irvin Potter. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Dur throws a sloppy head kick and Potter moves out of range easily.
Dur scores with a head kick. Potter tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dur throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Potter on the side of the head.


Potter is rocked!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dur is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Potter like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Potter from another fist facial!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:08 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Wojtek Dur!
