Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Amado Hood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Herron Berrian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Berrian has chosen Where Da Hood At? as his entrance music. Amado Hood has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Daniel Blasius and Paul Aken.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Berrian feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Berrian is working for a kimura but Hood is defending it quite comfortably.
Hood really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Berrian is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Hood has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

Berrian working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hood doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hood manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
