Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hjalti Eyj (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yi Liu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eyj's entrance music is I'm Sexy and I Know It. A fine choice. Liu is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Superman - Jucifer. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Robert Douchet and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eyj throws a push kick but Liu slaps the foot to one side.
Liu throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Liu slips under a jab from Eyj.
Liu misses with a straight right.
Liu turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Liu moves in looking to clinch but Eyj pushes him off.
Liu misses with a looping right.
Liu checks a leg kick.
Liu uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Eyj has time to react.
Eyj uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Liu .
Eyj with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Eyj goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Liu scores with a jab to the jaw.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Liu tries to close the distance and clinch up but Eyj swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Liu closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Eyj to the mat! Eyj manages to get full guard.
Eyj is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Liu tries to free his leg and advance position but Eyj is retaining full guard.
Liu is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Liu is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Yi Liu has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Liu closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Eyj did well to prevent Liu getting side control.

Eyj is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Eyj cracks the inside of Liu 's front leg.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Eyj feints and then cracks Liu 's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Liu down.
Liu looks to land a left hand but Eyj moved out of range nicely.
Liu bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Eyj's head backwards.
Eyj throws a head kick that half lands.

Liu stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Eyj.
Nice body kick from Eyj.
Eyj shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Liu is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Eyj's half guard.
Liu perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Eyj trying to hold on to Liu 's head to control him but Liu postures up.
Eyj makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Eyj.

Eyj bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Liu 's guard.
Liu controls Eyj momentarily but Eyj frees himself.
Eyj wants to control from the top but Liu keeps moving.
Eyj pushing down on Liu 's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Eyj wants to take a breather but Liu is having none of it.
Eyj looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Liu trying to control but Eyj postures up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Yi Liu dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Liu moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Eyj swats away the attempt to clinch by Liu .
Liu tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
A head kick from Liu lands but Eyj takes it in his stride.
Eyj moves out of range as Liu strikes.
Liu fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Eyj.
Liu throws a head kick that misses
and Eyj counters with a slapping leg kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Liu slaps away a takedown attempt from Eyj, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Liu misses the jab.
An inside leg kick from Eyj misses.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Eyj lands a head kick!
Eyj feints and as Liu raises his hands in defense, Eyj changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Eyj pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Liu is keeping the position for now.
Eyj passes Liu 's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Eyj seems to be looking for submissions.
Liu keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.
Liu makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Liu .
Liu controls Eyj momentarily but Eyj frees himself.
Yi Liu has got the better of the ground game so far.
Eyj slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Eyj wants to control from the top but Liu keeps moving.

Liu is refusing to be controlled, as Eyj sits in half guard.
Liu is looking to control Eyj's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Liu avoid being mounted?

Eyj uses his free foot to push down on Liu 's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Liu .

Eyj has his feet on Liu 's thighs here. He's pushed Liu off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Liu screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

Hjalti Eyj decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
