Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 4 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jan Zelenka!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Howlett jabs Zelenka right on the nose. Zelenka blinks but takes it well.
Zelenka cracks Howlett with a good jab.
A big right from Howlett misses.
Zelenka is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Zelenka throws a big shot that misses.
Howlett shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Zelenka sprawls well. Zelenka wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Howlett gets slowly back to his feet.
Howlett slips a straight right by Zelenka.

Howlett ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Zelenka moves away.

Howlett feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Zelenkas jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Zelenka looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Zelenka feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Howlett's calf.
Zelenka takes a swing at Howlett's ribcage but misses.

Howlett throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Zelenka was covering up waiting for the punch and Howlett finishes the takedown easily into guard.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Howlett in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Howlett throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

and Howlett counters with a single leg into guard. Zelenka didn't expect that.
Howlett throws an elbow that misses. Zelenka uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Howlett's guard. Nice move by Zelenka!
This has been an exciting period of action!

Howlett working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Zelenka doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Zelenka manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Howlett is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Zelenka defends well.

Howlett postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Zelenka out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Howlett goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!

After winning the bout, James Howlett thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
Jan Zelenka spoke after the fight, saying 'what happened?'.
