Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Andres Machete (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Murray Esson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Machete kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Lonely Day . The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machete throws a leg kick but Esson sees it coming and moves out of range.
Esson looks to land a combination but Machete avoids it well.
Esson lands a jab to the head.

and Machete counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Machete feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Esson's calf.

Esson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Machete stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Machete takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Esson misses with an uppercut. Machete saw that one coming.
Machete doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Machete throws a right and a left that both miss.
Esson tries to score with a low kick but Machete moves his leg out of the way.
Esson scores with a decent looking hook.
Machete lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Esson fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Machete has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Machete on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Machete with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Esson to score with a decent uppercut.
Machete tries to land a front kick but Esson steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

The fight stays on the outside here - Machete looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Machete is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Esson.
Esson clobbers Machete with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Machete stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Machete wants it to stay on the feet.
Esson takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Machete tries to clinch up
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Machete connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Murray Esson will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Esson swings for the body but Machete moves out of range.
Esson misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Machete.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Machete drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Esson right on the button. Esson goes down! Machete follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Machete gets the win via TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Andres Machete!
An intense looking Andres Machete took to the microphone post fight and gave a little speech: 'Great fight today, I'm very happy to fight in the "Claymore Combat Elite". I'm coming to the belt.'.
Murray Esson was interviewed post fight and said 'I just can't get anything going lately, I have the ability, just don't know about the desire!'.
