Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leo Vieira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maximo Katakutan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Leo Vieira has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Katakutan misses with a double jab
and Vieira counters with a right hand to the body.

letting Vieira counter with a right hand.
Horrible takedown by Vieira or perhaps it was just good defense by Katakutan which made him look bad.
Vieira closes this distance looking for a takedown but Katakutan circles away.
Katakutan smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Katakutan is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Katakutan will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Some bone on bone action there as Vieira checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

We've been told by Vieira's head coaches at Last Dragon MMA '4 Coaches + Sparring!!' that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Katakutan felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Katakutan dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Vieira. That did some damage!

Vieira's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Vieira might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Vieira has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Vieira, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
